Williams was apparently off his meds and acting violent when deputies responded. He was restrained and shocked with a Taser at the Gwinnett County Detention Center. He became unresponsive after the second shock and died two days later.
This record exists so that Frederick Jerome “Freddie” Williams, and all who are named in this archive, are never reduced to a number.
