At Rest

Less-than-lethal force
Police took autistic Templeton into custody for threatening a new home health care worker. When arrested Templeton became extremely agitated and spit on the officers, so they cuffed him, hooded him, and put his legs in restraints. Upon arrival at the county detention center Templeton continued to violently resist and began choking on his own vomit. Police tried to get him medical attention, too late.
This record exists so that Sidney Templeton, and all who are named in this archive, are never reduced to a number.
