Vongkorad was riding his 2002 Suzuki motorcycle at about 10:54 p.m. when he apparently lost control of the bike, which then skidded on its side and collided with a westbound police car. Vongkorad died of his injuries the following day. Police claimed Vongkorad was at fault in the crash.
