Patrol cars from Spencer and Clay counties tried to stop a car reported stolen out of Sanborn. The driver, Jameson Lisle Sierck, allegedly fled and led officers on a high-speed chase into Palo Alto County. According to police, Sierck lost control of the car on a gravel road and went into the ditch. The car rolled several times before coming to rest in a cornfield.
