Officer Dennis Bowen went to a carjacking where a victim said Danny Moss approached with a handgun and drove away in the victim's 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche. At 11 p.m., Bowen saw the SUV on Arnold Road and tried to pull the suspect over, police said. Moss went to the dead end at Old Quarry Road, jumped out of the other, and shot at Bowen, who shot and killed him.
