Officers chased a Chevrolet Cavalier being driven by David James Szymanski, 22. Szymanski raced through red lights on city streets and was traveling the wrong way on Loop 101 when his other collided head-on with a Ford Escort in which Cody Morrison was a passenger, killing him.
