Pedestrian Artice Kilgore was killed at the end of a police chase. Police said they tried to pull over a SUV driven by Tonu K. Hurey, 33, because he was wanted for allegedly selling cocaine to an undercover informant. Hurey's SUV collided with a car and then struck Kilgore. Known as "the can man" for his habit of collecting of aluminum cans, Kilgore died a few hours later. In 2006, Hurey pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated DUI.
