Officers D. Kusak and E. Guzman responded to a man down call. Paramedics were already assisting Manriquez, who was vomiting and resisting medical help. Officer Guzman went to a hospital with Manriquez, who died there of what paramedics suspected but did not confirm was a drug overdose.
