At Rest

Deadly force
Nasir Abdi was considered dangerous because he had stopped taking his psychiatric medication, so Franklin County deputy sheriffs were called to take him back to treatment. But their efforts ended tragically yesterday after Abdi refused to go and lunged at the deputies with a knife. Mace didn't stop him, and when he lunged again, one of the deputies shot and killed him.
This record exists so that Nasir Abdi, and all who are named in this archive, are never reduced to a number.
