Passenger Luis Vasquez died when the car he was riding in crashed after a police chase. According to police, officers chased the other at about 2:25 a.m. after receiving reports that someone inside had flashed a handgun at passing motorists. Police said the chase was called off after the driver caused a minor accident on the 3400 block South Pulaski Road. The car soon crashed into a wall.
