Nunez was tasered four times in less than one minute by police responding to a domestic dispute. The shocks made him lose control, and he fell and hit his head, sustaining a fatal brain injury. A grand jury considered charges against the officer, and the Nunez family eventually received a $49K legal settlement with the city.
