Around 2 a.m., Officer Bagley responded to a complaint that Brown was behaving erratically and appeared to be "on something." Officer Bagley tried to talk to Brown. Brown pushed Officer Bagley away and ran, screaming, toward Beltline Road. They struggled with each other in the road. Officer Bagley, with the help of two bystanders, handcuffed Brown. Brown continued to resist, and later died at a hospital.
