Deadly force
Two Detroit officers stopped a man in a car with an alleged prostitute at about 6 p.m. The man reportedly shot and wounded the officers. Police said an off-duty Wayne County sheriff's reserve officer, who was in the area at the time, fired his weapon at the man, but they did not say whether his shots killed him. The man, who was not identified, died in a field near Marcus and Milner.
