Officers approached Villareal because he was sleeping in a parked other with the engine on. They noticed a scale loaded with white powder and told Villareal to step out of the other. Villareal stepped out of the other, swallowed something and became ill shortly after his arrest. He was pronounced dead at Laredo Medical Center.
