Kody Eldon Krager was reportedly one of three motorcyclists pursued by state troopers for reckless driving. Krager's motorcycle collided head-on with a squad car driven by ICSD deputy Randal Petersen. Krager was killed in the crash. According to police, Petersen had slowed down because the sun was in his eyes, and his lights and sirens were on.
