A Las Vegas police officer fatally shot a man who violated a restraining order. The suspect, Javier Escamilla, 53, led officers on a chase but crashed his car at Jones Boulevard and Alta Drive, and when an officer approached the other, Escamilla pointed a gun at him. The officer fired twice, killing Escamilla.
