A trooper stopped a black Lincoln Town Car driven by Gonzalez, who was named in a felony warrant. Gonzalez stepped out of the other and ran away. The trooper and bystanders subdued Gonzalez. Gonzalez stopped breathing. He died at Valley Regional Medical Center. Texas Ranger Rolando Castaneda investigated.
