According to police, officers tried to stop Jimmy Lee Tucker's other in downtown Cadillac shortly after 5 a.m. after he allegedly struck a light pole and left the scene. Tucker reportedly fled through an alley and then south on Mitchell Street with police in pursuit. He was thrown from his car when it left the road and crashed.
