Senior Corporal James Reynolds, and Officers Joshua Cloutier, Paul Logan and Simone Broadnax responded to a complaint that Simon was stripping naked and trying to break into a house. Simon tried to run away. Officers held him down and handcuffed him. Paramedics put him onto a gurney and took him to Methodist Central Hospital. Simon died of the toxic effects of cocaine and ethanol.
