Officer Mary Morgan investigated what sounded like a shouting match in a parking lot. She found Taylor having a conversation with himself and assumed that he was intoxicated. Officer Angela Haynes responded. Taylor ran away and started banging on a other at an apartment complex. The officers pepper-sprayed and bludgeoned Taylor to no effect. He tried to enter a patrol other. The officers ordered him out at gunpoint. Taylor approached Officer Morgan. Officer Morgan fatally shot him.
