Local officers tasered Bradway twice in an attempt to get him to stop swallowing a large amount of cocaine to conceal it. Eight hours later he was having fatal seizures in a hospital, his death attributed to overdose. His family quietly settled a wrongful-death suit with the city for an undisclosed amount.
