Deadly force
Police shot and killed Devon "D-Mack" Young. At about 2:40 a.m., officers responded to a report of shots fired on the South Side. Neighbors said that Young was shot in the back execution style, while kneeling with his hands in the air shouting "don't shoot, don't shoot--I ain't got nothing." Witnesses said that officers "slapped palms" after killing Young and told each other "Good job."
