Deadly force
Officers responded to a call by a woman who said that Curtis had threatened her with a gun. Curtis drove by as officers spoke to the woman. They followed him. He sped, trying to escape officers, but crashed in Hutcheson Park. He exited his other with a pistol and pointed it at Officer Joseph D. Babineaux II. The officer fatally shot him.
