Lakeisha White was hit and killed by a police cruiser driven by Rutherford County Sheriff's deputy Ron Killings. Witnesses said they saw the on-duty Killings dump bottles of liquor from his cruiser, and he was not test for alcohol for two and a half hours. The results came back negative. Seven months after the crash, Killings was indicted on charges of reckless homicide, filing a false report and tampering with evidence
