Deadly force

Within a three-hour span police had been called to Bauman's apartment three times, the last time by a number of 911 hang-up calls. When they arrived at three in the morning, local police were confronted with Bauman on the sidewalk wielding a claw hammer, which he refused to drop. In the end he was fatally shot.
