Deadly force
Trivett was wanted in connection with attempted first-degree murder and other crimes. Police were alerted by somebody who recognized him from news reports. Encountering police, Trivett ran, then reached into a backpack, and was fatally shot. Reports were unclear about whether he'd been armed.
