Lorenzo Granillo was killed after leading police on a chase and crashing into a freeway overpass when his truck burst into flames, although his passenger, 22-year-old Mario Vargas, was rescued by officers, police said. Granillo led police on a chase after hitting a woman standing in the parking lot of Fantasia, a club. Granillo also nearly hit a police officer trying to flag him down as he was leaving the parking lot.
