An officer pulled Wauschek over on Riverstone Parkway, but police say he took off without warning. Officers gave chase. Meanwhile, Brittany Elaine Weiss and Kassandra Aileen Carmen, both 19, were leaving a nearby movie theater together. Police said Wauschek slammed into them as they turned left onto Reinhardt College Parkway from Riverstone Parkway. Weiss, who was driving, died at the scene.
