Jesse Shrouf and Franklin Tyler Lonberger were killed when their car crashed after a police chase. According to police, an officer had started pursuing the car because it appeared to be speeding. After losing the car, the officer reportedly called off the chase. The crash apparently happened a short time later when Shrouf's car failed to negotiate a curve and went off the left side of the road, became airborne and struck a ditch before coming to rest in a farm field.
