Deadly force

Five police detectives were running a surveillance operation in a Best Buy parking lot in Kendall where there had been car break-ins. According to police, Junior Carrales broke into an unmarked van that was actually a police other to steal a computer. Police confronted him, and he jumped into the car of Christian Estrada Morales, 25, who then drove toward an officer and hit several cars in an attempt to escape. Officers Elton Matthis Frank Reynolds and Alex Rizo opened fire killing Morales and critically wounding Carrales.
