Thomas Maurice Ozborne died after he popped a wheelie on his Harley Davidson motorcycle and collided with a 1999 Ford van during a police chase. According to police, an officer saw Ozborne commit a traffic violation at 10th Street and Rosedale Drive shortly before 4 p.m. Ozborne allegedly refused to stop and the officer pursued him. As Ozborne approached the state line on Southwest Boulevard, police said the officer began to back off. Ozborne reportedly sped up and struck the van in an intersection. Ozborne died at the scene.
