Brandon James Mechaley died in a crash while he was being pursued by a KHP trooper for speeding. The KHP said Mechaley tried to avoid vehicles as he tried to exit, and lost control of his 1997 Pontiac Firebird. The car rolled before coming to rest on its roof just before 10 a.m.
