Valerie Davis was killed after her car was struck by a minivan fleeing police. Chicago police and DEA officers stopped the minivan at about 7 a.m. at 63rd and King. The driver allegedly reversed the minivan and rammed the two unmarked police vehicles. An officer fired at the van, but missed, police said. The minivan went east on 63rd and crashed into Davis' Pontiac.
