Officers Joel Hesterman and Chase McAninch pursued Harvey by other in relation to a burglary call. Harvey crashed the other into a light pole, opened the driver's side door and pointed a handgun at officers. Officers shot at him. Harvey ran away, pointing the handgun at officers. Officers shot at Harvey until he fell down, killing him.
