Dominguez was shot by a Dona Ana sheriff's deputy after allegedly trying to get the officer's gun, being Tasered, getting into the officer's cruiser, putting it in gear and seemingly readying to run over the deputy, who was responding to a report of a business theft in Mesquite, N.M.
