Deadly force
Officers said that they attempted to stop Hassell because he was driving erratically at 2:22 a.m. He fled on foot, and officers said they saw that he had a gun. Officers shot him in the back while he was running through a field. Officers said they ordered him to drop his gun and that he turned toward them and raised his gun.
