Officers Adam Stucki and Archie Beason, responding by patrol car to a non-emergency call, fatally rear-ended Glover's stalled Jeep Cherokee, which had its flashers on. The officers were travelling at 45 mph on a 40 mph street. Officer Stucki had served for three years. Officer Beason had served for nine.
