Less-than-lethal force

When Talbert's roommate broke the news that he'd have to make other living arrangements, he took the news well. At first. But then Talbert became aggressive and violent, assaulting his roommate with a knife. Responding police restrained him, he experienced some kind of medical emergency (perhaps from his poor general health and his OxyContin habit, the roommate thought), and died.
