Deadly force

As police responded to reports of a domestic assault at a Bloomington apartment building, they found a man in the building who had been stabbed. Police say Lobahanow, a suspect in the stabbing, confronted an officer while wielding two knives. The officer then fatally shot him. Lobahanow's family called the officer's response 'unjustified,' saying the Somali man had only been holding the knives and hadn't threatened officers.
