After a five-mile chase at 3:30 in the morning Flippo pulled his other into an apartment building parking lot. "I'll kill myself, and I'll kill the child," he yelled, according to the sheriff, motioning toward an 8-month-old baby strapped into a car seat. Flippo was fatally shot.
