Police shot Johnson while he was in a other by a SWAT team after they saw "movement in the car." Police had stopped Johnson in relation to a report of domestic violence when a shot was fired inside the other. Police report the first shot was self-inflicted. The medical examiner later determined that the fatal shot was fired by the SWAT team.
