Deputy Jeremy McSwain responded to a single car accident involving Michael Craven. McSwain arrested Craven for DUI instead of bringing him to receive medical attention even though a witness who was there said Craven had had a stroke previously and worried that he might have had another. Craven was released after about 2.5 hours in custody (where he received no medical assistance) and was dropped off at his home where he died within an hour.
