At Rest

Deadly force
On accusations that Breton had sexually abused children, local officers went to question him. He was armed and uncooperative. They returned with a local SWAT team, a state police SWAT team, and after the hostage standoff had lasted 37 hours, seven troopers that positioned a "B.E.A.R." armored other "within about an arms length of Mr. Breton's kitchen windows". Finally he was shot once, in the chest, and was handcuffed while bleeding to death.
This record exists so that James D. Breton, and all who are named in this archive, are never reduced to a number.
