Officers tasered Howard Hammon after he allegedly resisted arrest following a fender-bender crash. Chief John Maddox said two tasers were used to subdue him after one failed to knock him Hammon down. He stopped breathing while waiting for an ambulance and was later pronounced dead at Southwest General.
