Deadly force

She was told they were going to the bank, but after Jimenez picked up his former girlfriend, he threw both of their cell phones out the window and said this would be their last ride. He drove his other into the Indian River and began stabbing her, 31 times in all. A passing surfer summoned police, who waded into the water toward the car and shot Jimenez through the driver's window.
