Deadly force

Officers investigating an armed robbery chased Banks, whose other fit the description of the suspect's other. Banks drove away, chased by officers. He later abandoned his other and tried to hide in the laundry room of an apartment complex. Officers followed him. According to police, Banks pointed a pistol at them. Multiple officers shot Banks, who died at a hospital. Officers said that the other he drove contained stolen property.
