Jermaine Alexander was riding a friend's dirt bike, a Honda CR500, in the city's Frankford section. At the intersection of Frankford Avenue and Butler Street, Alexander slammed into a southbound 2005 Kia Sportage, driven by Mitchell Butler. Witnesses said Alexander was fleeing from police. Police said they weren't.
