Suicide

Kerry Hullett reportedly mixed household chemicals to create hydrogen sulfide and then shot himself inside his workshop. Police responded at around 8:45 a.m. to a report that Hullett was suicidal and had locked himself in a room with a label on the door warning of poisonous gas. The neighborhood was evacuated. Armed members of a hazardous materials team entered the house at about 10:45 a.m. and were inside for about 30 minutes. They found Hullett dead inside the room with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
