Deadly force
Game wardens tried to pull over a red truck suspected of carrying a drug load. The truck sped away. The wardens called DPS. A DPS helicopter pursued. The other continued to speed as it headed toward three schools around dismissal time. Officer Miguel Avila shot at the other from the helicopter. Marco Antonio Castro and Jose Leonardo Cuj Cumar, two of nine Guatemalan migrants hiding in the truck, died.
