Ryan Rogers was shot in the back and killed by officers from the Chicago Police Department after he rammed a police other while attempting to flee. Officers attempted to pull Rogers over when he reacted; his girlfriend claims that they did not identify themselves and Rogers thought he was being robbed. The family filed a wrongful death lawsuit, case is still pending.
